Rennie is an experienced poet and reviewer, with a teaching background. He has a degree in English and American Literature, a Ph.D in educational management and more recently, an M.A in Creative Writing (Poetry) from The Writing School at Manchester Metropolitan University.
He has had poems published with Nine Muses Poetry, The Ekphrastic Review, The Poetry Shed, London Grip, ingénu/e, and Alchemy Spoon.His poetry reviews have been published by Sphinx, The Poetry Shed, and The High Window, and he is a regular reviewer for London Grip.
These days he is busy with his own writing and as a teacher of creative writing and poetry for his local u3a. His writing classes have been described as “inspirational” by students.
He is also involved in other research and writing projects with his local museum.
